SPARQL birthday present

The query language for the Semantic Web, SPARQL, has become a W3C Recommendation at my birthday. Yay.
Too bad there is just too much stop energy in this desktop-devel-list thread about using DOAP in Gnome to enable people to do awesome things with Semantic Web technologies.
